Cartographer: Throughout my experience, I have found my special talent again and again in envisioning and conveying information visually. I have loved maps all my life. The work suits me perfectly.

Graphic Designer: Statistical Graphics, Scientific Visualization, Layout, Desktop Publishing.

Air Quality Researcher: In my former career, I developed and tested ways to measure air pollution - and I did a lot of modeling and mapping of air pollution dispersion patterns. I worked with national environmental and contract research organizations contracting with the U.S. EPA, and various industries and trade associations, as well as a little international government work.

Education: My formal education is in Mathematics (Indiana University) and Atmospheric Science (North Carolina State). I am self-taught in cartography and graphic design.
