Proletarian Maps are 'working maps' - not necessarily pretty, but they get the job done. Polaris' main focus is on cartographic design, but I do take on some map survey work and GIS data processing and analysis from time to time. There isn't always a need for a 'finished' map in such cases, but the working maps are interesting - and some of them are even attractive.
